Beeke Stegmann

Dr. Beeke Stegmann (Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies, Reykjavík) is a codicologist and book historian. She studies, among others, the history of the Arnamagnæan manuscript collection and Árni Magnússon’s working methods. She is currently working on a monograph (Structural alteration of manuscripts in the Arnamagnæan Collection), unveiling the constructionist impetus of the archival practices employed in the formation period of the discipline.
