Amrei Stanzel

Amrei Katharina Stanzel holds an MA in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Vienna. Their MA thesis Aufarbeitungsprozesse altnordistischer Fachgeschichte seit 1945: Die Verhandlung von Kontinuität und Brüchen am Beispiel des Altgermanisten Otto Höflers was supervised by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Antje Wischmann and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Robert Nedoma. The thesis focused on the question of responsibility and accountability in the reappraisal and reprocessing of Old Norse Studies’ history following the Third Reich. Further research interests include Manuscript Studies and Gender Studies.
