Lucia Santercole

Lucia Santercole holds an MA in Classical Philology from the University of Pisa. She pursued studies in Old Norse Philology and Manuscript Studies during a semester at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, and a year at the Arnamagnæan Institute, University of Copenhagen, where she also worked as academic research officer for the Dictionary of Old Norse Prose. Her master's thesis focuses on Arngrímur Jónsson’s "Rerum Danicarum Fragmenta" (1596) and on the sources related to the Skjöldungar dynasty. Her primary research interests lie in the study of Latin texts in both medieval and modern Scandinavia, exploring the interplay between local and continental tradition.
